39.5. Online Options: Sell Bed Nights through ResConnect Agents

Sell Bed Nights through ResConnect Agents

Agents and Tour Operators are able to electronically access ResRequest customer's availability and bookings via our bridge product, ResConnect. This is an automated alternative to an agent logging in through your ResRequest login page. By automating access to your information, agents and tour operators are able to update their own systems for quick and accurate quoting of group and individual packages.

What is the cost?

Tour operators and agents pay a monthly fee to ResRequest for ResConnect access. This fee is dependent on the number of properties that the agent connects to. There is no connection fee for our client. Only standard support provided for general assistance or to setup the user access, is charged for at our standard support rates.

How do I set this up?

Generally the connection to your property is initiated by the tour operator / agent; however, you are welcome to contact our Call Centre for a list of specialist agents so that you can be sure that, if the channel is appropriate for your sales strategy, that you are connected. Once the agreement is confirmed between yourself and the agent, a user is setup in ResRequest. All user access permissions such as availability and module access restrictions are defined, by you, in ResRequest. Once this user is setup, our call centre will connect your user record to the respective agent's account on ResConnect.
