Movements

Mike and Jill have been on several trips to East Africa for client visits and conferences.

Jill attended the e-Tourism East Africa conference in Nairobi where she connected with many East African friends and customers including David Stogdale and Tamsin Corcoran.

Jill contributed to a panel discussion on 'Online transactions' at the e-TAS summit in Johannesburg alongside Christian from TourRadar.

Mike made several client visits to Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia this year. When it came time to say goodbye he had some very touching farewells.

Mike also made some time for play this year and went on a cycling expedition to Zambia with the family. They cycled through the marshy expanse of Bangweulu, bumped down the North Luangwa escarpment and weaved through the Miombo woodlands of Eastern Zambia. Read more about his adventure

Belinda has stepped into some training shoes and set off to the Sabi Sands area last month. The travel bug had a nibble and she packed her bags for another training stint in Leobo Private Reserve.

Newbies

Our team has grown substantially this year with six new additions to strengthen ResRequest's design, development, technical and support teams.

Office antics

Most of our time goes into this...

...development and creating exciting new features and technologies.

Nicol (above) and Jaco (below) show off their new development projects.

But we still make time for a bit of this...

...taking every opportunity to dress up, celebrate and enjoy some treats over birthdays - we also celebrated ResRequest's 14th official birthday this year.

Angie shows her appreciation for ResRequest's 14 years of Ferrero Rochers.

Give back projects

This year we've been involved in some fun and worthwhile give back projects. We participated in Pack for a Purpose where we bought and delivered a bunch of school supplies to Mkasanga School in Zambia.

We contributed to the purchase of tents for the AWOL initiative and some of our team members lent helping hands to the outreach.

We donated to LIV Village as part of our quarterly give back. The village also hosted our team for our end of year team building day - it was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
