13.3. Source

You can define Source codes, which can then be added to Reservations, to indicate the channel (usually a marketing channel) through which the reservation came. You can then use Reports to analyse how much revenue (or how many bednights, etc) was generated from which Sources.

Source can be added to a Reservation at the time of booking, or at a later stage - on the Details tab.

When creating a Source you give it:

  1. a Name: WHERE DOES THIS APPEAR?,
  2. an Abbreviation: for summary display and reporting
  3. a Description: WHERE DOES THIS APPEAR?
